There is a blog that has information on how to get to the rally from various cities around the country. These options include Greyhound Buses (info provided) and established groups of people carpooling from different cities. The blog is here. Check it out if you haven't found a way to get there yet.
This blog also provides information about the rally and how to get around the DC area as well!

There is a site that sets up carpools for people and they have dedicated a page to the Rally to Restore Sanity. People request or offer a carpool and are given the means to contact one another. If you are trying to find a way to get to the Rally, or want to save money on your trip then you should definitely consider the carpooling option.
