Tonight on The Daily Show Stephen Colbert appeared, saying that he wanted to join forces with Jon Stewart because he "couldn't get a permit for the National Mall". They name this joint rally "Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear."
Oprah appears on the wall behind them and expresses her support for the rally, having the audience look under their seats and produce airline tickets to the rally.
This show of support by Oprah is sure to boost the attendance numbers, as she has a huge fan-base behind her.
This announcement was highly anticipated in some form, as both Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart announced their rallies at the same time and have a history of working together.
